James Earl Morris Jr.

Farmville………………………………………………. James Earl Morris Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024 with son, Romus Earl Morris Sr. and daughter-in-law, Robyn Morris by his side at ECU Medical Center.                     

                                                                                Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 3:00 P.M. at Hollywood Cemetery by Rev. Jeff Toler. 

                                                                                The family will receive friends Monday, March 4 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home.

                                                                                He was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Faye Morris; parents, James Earl Morris Sr. and Hannah Marie Mattox Morris; sisters, Dot Williamson and Dorothy Nunn and brother, Walter L. Morris.

                                                                                He is survived by son, Romus Earl Morris Sr. and wife, Robyn Morris of Farmville; grandson, Romus Earl Morris Jr.; granddaughter, Raven M. Townley;  and five great-grandchildren.
