Greenville…………………………………. James Howell Trotman, age 82, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the ECU Health Inpatient Hospice Center.

                                                          A graveside service will be held Friday, March 14 at 11:00 A.M at the Bowen Family Cemetery;  5449 Ormondsville Road, Ayden, NC. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

                                                          He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin Howell Trotman and Lillian Rouse Trotman; brother, John Quentin Trotman and daughter, Donna Morris.

                                                          He is survived by his wife, Faye Trotman of the home; daughter, Rená Patrick and husband, Mitchell of Creswell; sister, Edith Chesson and husband, Donald of Plymouth; grandchildren, Danielle Bailey and husband Tyler, James Mitchell Patrick, Colby Renae Holley and husband, Demarcus, Nolan Isaac Patrick and wife, Courtney, Allie Morris; great-grandchildren, Landon Blake Holley, Caleb James Holley, Alaina Mae Holley, Macie Renee Patrick, Charlotte Hope Baker, and Ella-Mae Williams.
