Fairfax, VA…………………..James “Jim” Lynn May, age 87, died Friday May 9, 2025.

                                                A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, at 11:00 A.M. at Hollywood Cemetery by Rev. Rocky Stone. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

                                                Mr. May was a retired Colonel with the U.S. Army after 24 years of service.

                                                He is survived by his wife, Georgia Hockaday May of the home; son, Andy May and wife, Kristina of Crofton, MD; grandchildren, Katy and Oscar May; and sister, Linda Benner of Raleigh.

                                                Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
