Fountain……………………..Jeffery Carroll Vincent, a cherished father, son, brother, friend, and
adventurer, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, after a valiant struggle with alcoholism.
His indomitable spirit led him on journeys around the world, creating memories that he greatly cherished.
Despite his enduring efforts to overcome alcoholism, Jeffery’s battle was one of great challenge. His journey serves as a reminder of the complexities of addiction. In this time of grief, we remember the joy he brought to our lives and the love that bound our family together.
Jeffery is survived by former wife, Sheila Vincent of Greenville; daughters, Haley Wishall and Asia Vincent of Greenville; grandchildren, Asa and Della Wishall of Greenville; parents, Bruce and Linda Vincent of Fountain; siblings, Sharon Cox of Fountain, Amy Gardner of Fountain, Derek Vincent of Greenville; nephews, Brandon Cox of Farmville and Zander Gardner of Fountain.
A funeral service to honor his life will be held, Saturday, December 2, at 11:00 A.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Jones where friends and family can join together to celebrate Jeffery’s life. Interment will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain.
The family will receive friends Friday, evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
May he rest in peace, free from the burdens he carried in life and may his memory inspire compassion and understanding for those facing similar struggles.
