Jeffrey Frank Barnes

Macclesfield…………………………………. Jeffrey Frank Barnes, age 61, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 25, at his home surrounded by the love of his family.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 29 at 2:00 pm at Open Table Church; located at 5851 East Lang St., Fountain, NC, by Rev. Jeff Toler. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. His greatest joy in life was spending time with those he loved most.                                   

 He was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle P. Mozingo and son, Alan Keith Bailey.                                                                         

He is survived by his beloved wife, Stacey Braxton Barnes; his children, Lillie Ribeiro (Rafael), Melinda Barnes (Tariq Dost), Chelsea Evans (Glenn), and Jessica Chatelain (Adam); his cherished grandchildren, Haris Dost, Cooper Evans, Sophia Chatelain, and Olivia Chatelain; his father, Bobby Mozingo; and his brother, Bobby Barnes.

Jeffrey’s love, strength, and memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He will be deeply missed.
