Farmville……………………Joan Winfree Gilbert, age 74, died Tuesday November 9, 2021.

                                                A graveside service will be held Friday, November 12, at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Phil Dietz. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

                                                Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her father, William Oscar Winfree; mother, Frances Elizabeth Winfree; and fiancé, Roy Braxton.

                                                She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Barnett and husband, Bill; son, Robert Gilbert and wife, Tina; sister, Stephanie Jenkins; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
