Greenville……â…ââ…âââ…ââââ..Joe Ray McLawhorn, age 59, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

                                                                A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. David Langley. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

                                                                Joe Ray McLawhorn is a Native of Pitt County. He was born March 23, 1962 to Curley and Barbara McLawhorn of Greenville, North Carolina. He and his father ran Curley Exxon on Memorial Drive. He is perceded in death by his mother the late Barbara Anderson Mclawhorn of Greenville.

                                                                He is survived by his father Curley McLawhorn and one son Jonathan Ray Mclawhorn, finance Amanda and daughter Lizzie of Clinton. Paul Taylor his best friend since childhood. Many other family members here in Greenville and surrounding area.

A tribute to my father
We may not have always seen eye to eye but our love is deeper than the deepest sea. We spent many hours working on and dressing up our vehicles. Whenever I ever needed anything you were there. We were best friends and no distance could keep us apart. I love you dad. Rest on I will see you in heaven.
