Farmville…………………………………………John Major Eastwood Jr., age 73, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

                                                            Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, at 2:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church, 4673 Bell Road, Walstonburg, NC 27888 by Rev. Rex Edwards.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.

                                                            Mr. Eastwood was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Robbie Eastwood; sister, Katie Eastwood Smith; and brothers, Bratchard and Clarence Eastwood.

                                                            He is survived by his wife, Kaye Eastwood of the home; son, Michael Rouse and wife, Stephanie of Farmville; grandchildren, Miranda Rouse and Kirsten Rouse; great grandchild, Matthew Hamilton; brother, Aaron Eastwood of Turnersville, NJ; several special nieces and nephews.

                                                            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, c/o Vidant Health Foundation, 690 Medical Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
