He fell in love with music and his love of country music led him to DJ for a small local country station in Greenville, NC, in the 1970’s. He was very popular and entertaining on the air! John was gifted as an announcer. His favorite country song was I Believe in You by Don Williams. John also loved Christian music and listened to it while he read his bible.
