                                                            Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 22, at 3:30 P.M at.the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Timothy Leggett.  Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville, NC.

                                                            He is survived by is wife, Sylvia Davenport of the home; daughter, Jennifer Davenport of Greenville; sons, Jonathan Davenport of Bremerton, WA and Justin Davenport and fiancé, Amanda Hill of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Tena Davenport of San Diego, CA; sisters, Ernestine Rouse of Ayden, Alma Davenport of Greenville, Diane Roberson of Mt. Olive, and Darline Hudson of Knightdale; brothers, Edmond Davenport of San Antonio, TX and Dick Davenport of Cairo, GA; eight grandchildren, Courtney Anthony, Chris Anthony, Corey Anthony, Payton Davenport, Alexa Davenport, Spencer Davenport, McKynlie Owens, and Peyton Owens; two great-grandchildren, Kyson Williams and Jaiden Williams.

                                                            The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
