Fountain…………………………….Johnny Ruel Dilda Sr., age 83, died Saturday, July 9, 2022.

                                                            Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 16, at 2:00 P.M. at the Fountain Presbyterian Church by Rev. Jane Rose.  Interment will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain.

                                                            The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home and other times at the home of John Dilda, 5834 NC Hwy 222, Fountain, NC.

                                                            Mr. Dilda was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Dilda; parents, Ruel and Lucille Dilda; and sister, Sue Mercer.

                                                            He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Turnage of Fountain; son, John Dilda Jr. and wife, Yen of Fountain; brother, Bennett Dilda and wife, Nellie of Fountain; grandchildren, Johnathan Turnage and wife, Grace, Ashton Turnage, and Zachary Rudow.

                                                            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fountain Presbyterian Church or to the Fountain EMS.
