Kenneth Padgett Obituary

Kenneth Ray (Hobbs) Padgett of Pasadena Maryland, gained his angel wings on September 2, 2021 at the age of 63, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Hobbs was Born December 19, 1957 in Farmville North Carolina. He is proceeded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by, his wife, Susan Hamel, shared children and grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Worthington (Bobby) of Ayden NC; Peggy Steen (Eric) of Pasadena MD, and Linda Howard (Steve) of Lagrange NC. Many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a special companion “Hunter”.

Hobbs retired from US Gypsum, he was an avid hunter, fisherman and karaoke singer. He will always be remembered for his love of family and friends and the great outdoors.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 7, at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. By Rev. Gail Skinner. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Tuesday prior to the service.
