Kinchen Owens, age 88, died Monday, May 20, 2024. 

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 3 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 3455 S Contentnea Street, Farmville, NC, 27828 by Father Joseph Mulroney.  Internment will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Owens of the home; daughter, Stephanie Owens of Farmville; sons, Felix Hubert Owens of the home, Thomas Owens of the Dominican Republic and Steven Julius Owens of  Florida; grandchildren, Melissa Brown, Beth Brown, Missty Henrriquez Owens and Crissty Henrriquez Owens; sisters, Ann Webb and husband, Skip of Elm City, Louise Gardner of Fountain, and Rachel Glenn of Newton Grove; brothers, Bobby Owens and wife, Karen of Newport News, VA, Linwood Owens and wife, Ann of Windsor, VA; special nieces, Delia Everette and husband, Junior, Judy Bradley and husband, Gary and Linda Ellis and many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
