Farmville…………………….Leon Earl Moore, age 79, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

                                                Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 3, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Hill.  Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

                                                He is survived by his wife, Margaret F. Moore of the home; son, Brian Moore and wife, Emily of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Sam and Grace Moore; sisters, Lula Belle Cobb of Farmville, Geraldine Harris of Goldsboro, and Clara Long of Williamston; brother, Kenneth Ray Moore of Farmville; and many nieces and nephews.
