Greenville…………………………..Lester Greene Braxton Jr., age 79, died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at his home.

                                                            A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 26, at 11:00 A.M.  at Lighthouse Baptist Church by Rev. Jay Tripp.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church.

                                                            Mr. Braxton was a retired roofing foreman.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Greene Braxton Sr. and Addie Carraway Braxton; and three siblings.

                                                            He is survived by his wife, Geneva Dunn Braxton of the home; daughter, Beverly Braxton of the home; son, Malcolm Braxton and wife, Corissa of Greenville; beloved grandchildren, Peyton Braxton and Briannah Braxton; sisters, Betty Jean Eakes, Dorothy Strickland, Nancy Justice, Faye Moore, Brenda Eastwood, Deborah Braxton; brothers, Albert Braxton, Kenneth Braxton, and Jesse Braxton.

                                                            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church.

                                                            Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
