Washington…………………………………………. Lillie Marie Young Roberson, age 70, passed away suddenly from natural causes on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

                                                                        Lillie was born on June 29, 1955, to Tommy and Nannie Young.  She attended Farmville Central High School.  After high school, she worked as a seamstress at a sewing factory for many years.

                                                                        She is survived by her loving son, Wesley Roberson; daughter, Lavonda Roberson; granddaughter, Serenity Roberson; her sister, Sally Jones; a special cousin, Sandra May; and many other family members.

                                                                        She is preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Nannie Young, and brother, Billy Young.

                                                                        Lillie enjoyed spending quality time with her loving granddaughter, Serenity.  She was known for her sincerity, friendliness, and kindness and was loved by all who knew her.  She will be deeply missed.

                                                                        At her request, no formal service will be held.

                                                                        Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
