Lucy House Oakley

Farmville……�…��…�…Lucy House Oakley, age 88, died Thursday, July 1, 2021.

                                                Mrs. Oakley was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

                                                She is survived by a daughter, Beth Oakley Shane and husband, Tom of Greenville; sons, Bryant Oakley and wife, Connie of Farmville, Keith Oakley and wife, Elaine of New Port, Irvin Oakley and wife, Dorinda of Rocky Mount, and Lewis Oakley and wife, Lisa of Macclesfield; sister, Sue Grady of Greenville; brothers, Ronald House and wife, Mildred of Stedman, NC, and Billie House of Raleigh; twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

                                                Graveside service will be held Sunday, July 4, at 2:00 P.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Pastor Oscar Coggin and Rev. Ronnie Hobgood. The family will receive friends  Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Farmville Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Bryant and Connie Oakley, 3125 Arrowhead Place, Farmville, NC 27828.

                                                The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Mary Taylor, and to the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in  Goldsboro.
