Stantonsburg……………………….Lydia Tugwell Bardin, age 94, died Monday, December 9, 2024 at her home.

                                                            Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 12, at 11:00 A.M.at the Stantonsburg Cemetery by E. B. Webb.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

                                                            She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Patty Tugwell; her husband Carl Bardin; brother, Bruce Tugwell; and sisters, Doris Whitley, Betty Taylor, and Dixie Tugwell.

                                                            She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Ross (Joe) of Stantonsburg and Cathy Roberson (Mike) of Williamston; grandson, Mark Ross (Amanda) of Stantonsburg; great grandchildren, Nathan Ross, Luke Ross, Chloe Taylor, and Connor Taylor; and special sister-in-law, Peggy Finch.
