Mrs. Dildy was a native of Edgecombe County and a graduate of Edgecombe County High School. She worked for Carolina Telephone and Telegraph Company/Sprint in Tarboro and Wake Forest 42 years, until her retirement. After retirement, she worked for Strickland Dail Dining. She loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.
