Whitakers……………… Marie Driver Owens, age 82, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home.

                                                Graveside service will be held Sunday, April 5, at 2:30 P.M. at Stantonsburg Cemetery by Rev. Marvin Exum.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

                                                She is survived by her husband, Hubert Owens of the home; son, Robert Lee Owens and wife, Tracey of Whitakers; grandson, Dalton Owens; nieces, Marie Whisenant, and Tammy Lynn Driver; and nephew, Lee Driver.

                                                Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
