Fountain…………………………….Mary Elizabeth Lee Meeks, age 82, died Friday, May 20, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

                                                            Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 24, at

11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Dennis Levin.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

                                                            Mrs. Meeks was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Meeks.

                                                            She is survived by her daughters, Janet Thomas and husband, Charles of Chocowinity, Debra Goughnour of Wilmington, Lisa Lewin and husband, Cliff of Wilson, and Angie Meeks of Greenville; grandchildren, Eric Thomas and fiancé, Katherine Trinajstich, Elizabeth and Mary Margaret Goughnour, Blake and Mary Abigail Lewin; sister, Brenda Vandiford and husband, Richard of Scuffleton; brother, Jerry Lee and significant other, Marsha of Spring Hope; several nieces and nephews; her beloved church family; and special pets, Dewey and Gabby.

                                                            The family extends a special thank you to Community Hospice of Washington and Wilmington.

                                                            Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
