Farmville…………………………Mary Helen Shirley Carraway, age 75, died Monday, February 6, 2023.

                                                            A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 9, at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Minister Chuck French. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

                                                            Mrs. Carraway was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Shirley.

                                                            She is survived by her husband, Joseph Carraway of the home; daughters, Lisa Rabey and husband, Frank of Winterville, and Lynne French and husband, Chuck of Walstonburg; step-sons, Randy Carraway and wife, Jeri of Columbia, SC, and Brian Carraway and wife, Brandie of Fort Meyers, FL; sister, Debra Carver and husband Jim of Fuquay-Varina; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and special aunt, Dorothy Taylor of Snow Hill.

                                                             In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marlboro Original Free Will Baptist Church.

                                                            Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
