Merline Jackson Morgan

Snow Hill………………………………….Merline Jackson Morgan, age 96, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at her home.

                                                                Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 28, at 7:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Hill. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

                                                                Committal service will be held Monday, December 29, at 11:00 A.M. at the Walstonburg Cemetery by Rev. John Hill.

                                                                Mrs. Morgan was a member of Friendship Original Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seth Tyson Morgan; daughter, Rose Cook; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Morgan.

                                                                She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Davis of Walstonburg, Julie Adams of Farmville, and Brenda Morgan of Greenville; sons, Marvin Morgan and wife, Donna of Snow Hill, and Michael Wayne Morgan of Snow Hill; sisters, Belva Davenport of Greenville and Barbara Franks of Grifton; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

                                                                The family extends a special thank you to Pruitt Health and Hospice and all of those that helped with her care.
