Walstonburg…………………………….Mildred Joyce Jones, age 92, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

                                                            Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 8, at 11:00 A.M. at the Edwin Owens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

                                                            She was preceded in death by her parents, Darcy and Lillie Jones; brothers, Bobby Jones and Archie Jones; sister, Dorothy Jernigan; sister-in-law, Shelby Jones; and brother-in-law, Jim Jernigan.

                                                            She is survived by her niece, Rose Ann Thomas and husband, Ronnie Stantonsburg; great nephew, Darrell Jones and wife, Britni of Stantonsburg and great niece, Ashley Jones and husband, Chris of Wilson; great-great nephews, Austin, Trent, Logan, Easton, Dallas, and Marshall Jones.
