Richard Alan Bagley

Walstonburg……………..Richard Alan Bagley, 66, of Walstonburg went to be with the Lord, Friday August 4, 2023. Alan was a loving son, husband, father and Papa. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family with integrity and pride. He had a giving heart and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences with others. Alan was a member of Spring Branch Original Free Will Baptist Church in Walstonburg and found joy in the love and support of his church family.

            A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Woolard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and other times at 5547 Appie Road Walstonburg, NC 27888. Committal service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.

            He is survived by his wife, Darnell N. Bagley of the home; daughter, Alana Brewer and husband, Keith of Walstonburg; son, Richard “Ric” D. Bagley of Walstonburg; mother, Vera C. Bagley of Walstonburg; grandson, Noah Brewer; sister, Cindy Byrd and husband, Danny of Walstonburg; and his nieces and nephews.
