Ricky Edward Stroud

   Ricky Edward Stroud, 66 yrs old, of Saratoga, NC entered eternal rest after a brief illness. He was surrounded by loving family during this difficult journey. Surviving family includes his devoted wife and High School sweetheart, Wanda Hill Stroud, of 48 yrs. He dearly loved his children, in-loves and grandkids: April Langley(Michael) and their son, Noah, Travis Stroud (Gina) and Garett Stroud(Czarina) and their daughter, Emma with baby Liam due in July. He is survived by his siblings: Henry(Cheryl),Donald(Betty Jo) and Brenda and by special in-laws: Jeanette(Pompeyo), Annette and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Grace Stroud and in-laws J.W. and Frances Hill and brother-in-law Jr.

Ricky was very energetic, loved anything outdoors and being in nature. He loved cooking for family, gardening but fishing was his passion. He loved his family, especially his cherished grandkids riding them on 4-wheelers and lawnmowers.

To my Love, We did make it 50 Yrs of rocking on front porch like we promised. You are loved, will be loved, and deserved to be love.

Per his wishes, a private celebration will be held.
