Farmville …………... Robert Noel Pope, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025. 

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 23 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home by Rev. John Hill.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Pope was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Anita Brown Pope and brother, Jim Pope.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan Elizabeth Brogan and husband, Sean, of The Woodlands, TX; sons, Brian Elliot Pope and wife, Marie, of Kingston, MA, and Adam Christopher Pope and wife, Mandi Rae, of White Salmon, WA; sister, Donna Gayle Koch, of Ramsey, NJ; grandsons, Josh, Richard, Henry and Arlo and granddaughters, Campbell, Clare, and Rey.

Mr. Pope served his country in the U.S. Army, 5th Special Forces Unit, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service and sacrifice.
