Robin Dale Witherington

Farmville…....  Robin Dale Witherington, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by his family. A native of Pitt County, he was born October 6, 1960, the son of Gray Witherington and Inez W. McLawhorn. Robin married his current wife Connie Witherington on October 1, 2004.

                        A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home chapel by Rev. Cam Coburn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M.

                        Robin’s surviving family other than his wife, includes his Twin daughters Shannon St. Antoine and husband Adam St. Antoine, Chelsea Witherington and CJ Anderson; stepchildren, Jennifer Fields and husband Pat Fields and Ricky Sumrell; Brothers, Allen Witherington and wife Penny Witherington, David Witherington grandchildren Adalynn St. Antoine and Hayden Anderson; and seven step grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Jaden, Kaylee, Aaron, Nathan, Jesse

                        In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by his three brothers Randy Witherington, Kelly Witherington, and Roger Witherington.

He grew up in Falkland, later moving to Farmville where he retired with the Town of Farmville as a water treatment specialist.  He was a huge aviation hobbyist, and could often be found flying his RC airplanes, when he wasn’t spending time with his family.  In his younger years he enjoyed hunting squirrel and dove.
