Farmville……………………….Ronald “Ronnie” Gray Morgan, age 81, died Tuesday August 12, 2025.

A memorial service will be held Sunday August 17, at 2:00 P.M. at Marlboro OFWB Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Mr. Morgan was an active member of Marlboro Original Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Superintendent and with the Ramp Team. He also served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mary Ida Morgan; siblings, twin brother Donald Ray Morgan, James Allen Morgan, and Janice Morgan Beaman. Ronnie will be remembered as a faithful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, handyman, cook, gardener, and yardman.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Wade Grant Morgan of the home; children; Ronald Gray Morgan Jr., and wife, Magdalena of Bell, FL, Beth Grant Head and husband, Vance of Grifton, Stephanie Morgan and friend, Brian of Winston-Salem, and Chad Grant and wife, Kristin of Germany; grandchildren, Amberlyn Miyaki and husband, Ben, Marissa Lucido and husband, Michael, Zachary Morgan and fiancé, Elizabeth, Jackson Morgan and friend, Nicole, Jillian Morgan, Nathaniel Morgan, Mason Grant Head and wife, Demi, James Head and wife, Rylie, Allana Head and friend, Brandon, Jaycie Westmoreland and husband, Garrett, and Jordan Grant; great-grandchildren, Michael Lucido II, Emerson Miyaki, Isla James Head, and Charlie Jane Head; sister-in-law Betty Jean Morgan; nephew, Monte Morgan; and niece, Tracey Roberson and husband Michael.
