Rosa Webb Griffin

On 11 March 2022, Rosa Webb Griffin, 76 of Ayden NC, joined her soulmate & husband of 39 years, John Griffin, in eternity.  

After seven years apart they are now dancing again together.  Rosa spent the last year of her life, waiting to join Dad, under the tender care of her granddaughter Christina and her family, for whom we are forever grateful.

Rosa & John will continue to watch over those who remain here; brother James Webb, Rosa's three sons; Trey, Ward and Wesley (wife Wendy) Wooten, John's brother Jim Griffin and John's two daughters Suzanne and Christine, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of dear family, friends and cats.

Rosa was an artist, painter, gardener, seamstress, homemaker & lover of all living things, especially her family and pets.  

Rosa was born of New Mexico and Texas, raised in Tarboro and lived most of her adult life in Pitt County.  While raising three boys, and of course doting on her loving husband John, Rosa illustrated for Brody's, later ran Griffin Corners Doll Hospital for 11 years, restoring & creating lasting legacies for countless others, even worked at Dixie Queen for a while & created a garden oasis of their Ayden home.  Dearest love to all of her Grands and Greatgrands: Jack, Mary Logan and Holt; Christina, Eric and James; Christopher, Adam and Rosie; Emma and Sydney; Eric Jr., Zack, Blake and Anna Marie.

We welcome thoughts & prayers at this time.  As prescribed there will be no funeral services.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
