Fountain…………………………………..Ruby  Langley Carr, age 89, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center.

                                                                Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 9, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

                                                                Mrs. Carr was a member of Webbs Chapel Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Leslie Carr.

                                                                She is survived by her daughters, Kim Carr of Fountain and Michele Wyatt and husband, Ray of Lexington; son, Tim Carr and wife, Natsu of Lexington; brother, Buddy Boy Langley and wife, Clara of Fountain; grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, and Travis Carr, Audrey Wyatt Gorrell and husband, Caleb, Olivia Wyatt Stadler and husband, Mitchell; great grandchild, Avery Elizabeth Gorrell; many special nieces and nephews.
