Ruth Skinner Walston

Walstonburg............................Ruth Skinner Walston, age 92, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 18, at 3:30 P.M. from the Farmville Funerall Home Chapel by Rev. Doug Skinner and Rev. Walt Tyndall. Interment will follow in Walstonburg Cemetery. Mrs. Walston was a member of Spring Branch Original Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Walston and a daughter, Elaine W. Blackmon. She is survived by her daughter, Faye W. Baldree and husband, "Bert" of Farmville; sons, A. J. Walston and wife, "Betty" of Middlesex and Bob Walston and wife, "Melda" of Wilson; seven grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home, Saturday evening from 4 until 7 P.M. and other times at the home.
