Fountain……………………………………      Sarah Rawls Grimsley, age 78, died Sunday, February 13, 2022. 

                                                                Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 17 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bryan Creech.  Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

                                                                The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Janice Allen, 8314 Willow Green Road, Snow Hill, NC 28590.

                                                                Mrs. Grimsley was a member of Beacon Free Will Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Ray Grimsley, Sr., parents, Earl and Marie Rawls, son-in-law Randy Allen, and several brothers and sisters.

                                                                She is survived by her daughter, Janice Allen of Maury; sons, Johnny Grimsley and wife Donna, of Belvoir and Jessie Ray Grimsley, Jr. and partner, Kimberly Garris, of Greenville; stepdaughters, BJ Ange and husband, Elmer of Chocowinity, and Stacy Miller of Wilson; sister, Shirley Rawls of Tarboro; brother, Ernest Rawls of Tarboro; seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
