Susan Faye Miller, born November 11, 1939, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Susan loved with her whole heart. Her two precious grandchildren were the light of her life and her greatest joy. She treasured every moment spent with them. She was lovingly known as “Aunt Suzie” to her nieces, who meant the world to her and were always close by her side. She spent many years working at the Red & White in Farmville before retiring to devote her time to caring for her grandchildren and nieces. Family was everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Dennis Miller; her parents, Ernest and Callie Gay of Farmville; and her brother, William Gay.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Fisher and husband Kenny Fisher of Greenville; her grandsons, Brendan Fisher and Keagan Fisher and his girlfriend, Courtney Forehand; her sister, Ella Reason and husband Phil Reason; her brother, Willie Gay; as well as many loving nieces and their spouses.
A Chapel Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 21st, at the Farmville Funeral Home, with internment following at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
