Walstonburg…………………Tony Randall Holloman, age 66, died peacefully Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 1, at 7:00 P.M. at New Direction Church, by Rev. Matthew Galloway. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church, 1770 Hwy 91, Snow Hill, NC.
The committal service will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Walstonburg Cemetery.
Mr. Holloman believed wholeheartedly in the Lord and loved him fiercely. Because of his love for Jesus, he loved people and investing in people. Over the course of his life, he formed many long-lasting and meaningful relationships wherever he went. His career interests– including 30 years of farming, starting JAK Molding and various other business endeavors– led him to invest his talents in other young entrepreneurs and provide for his family. His time spent in church his entire life between Friendship Free Will Baptist in Farmville and New Direction Church in Snow Hill helped him invest in the spiritual lives of many people and the Kingdom of God; his time spent living life and having fun at White Lake, Gatlinburg, and some of his other favorite places allowed him to invest in the lives of loved ones and strangers alike. He was well loved and known by many, leaving an incredible legacy behind. We look forward to seeing him again one day in heaven.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Bessie Holloman; his sister, Kathy Baucom and his nephew, Charlie Baucom.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Tyson Holloman of the home; daughter, Amanda Hightower and husband, J.D. of Snow Hill; sons, John Holloman and wife, Ashley of Walstonburg and Kevin Holloman and wife, Rebekah of Walstonburg; grandchildren, Luke and Gracyn Holloman, Jase, Reed, Jack, and Rhett Hightower, and Lewis Bryce Holloman; sister, Trina Johnson and husband, Robbie of Farmville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
