Walter "Pat" Patrick Johnston

Farmville……………Walter “Pat” Patrick Johnston, age 70, passed away peacefully Friday, July 19, 2024.

                                                                                No formal service will be held.

                                                                                Mr. Johnston was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ewing Johnston and Elizabeth Falkenberg Johnston; and a brother, Scott Johnston. He worked as an electrician for fifty years, and the last twenty years had been with Coastline Electric.

                                                                                He is survived by his wife, Trena Pollard Johnston; daughters, Amy Pollard, Anna Johnston, Beth Williams, Heather Tucker, Kimberly Johnston; sister, Anne Bailey; brother, Jeff Johnston; aunt, Carolyn Howington; brother-in-law, Tal Pollard; cousins, Shawn Sitton and wife, Kristi, Jennifer Fitzgerald and husband, Michael, Bud “Butch” Howington and wife, Carole and their children; several grandchildren; and grand-dog, Azula.

                                                                                The family would like to express a special thank you to Pruitt Hospice, patient coordinator, Michelle Matthews, and nurses, Ashleigh, Lorie, Hunter, Erica, Nora, and Jada for their loving care and compassion.

                                                                                In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
