Farmville………………………………………………..Walter Lee “W.L.” Tugwell Jr., age 74, died Friday, June 7, 2024 at his home.

                                                                                Funeral service will be held Monday, June 10, at 2:00 P.M. at Parker’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Gene Williams.  Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens near Farmville. 

                                                                                The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home.

                                                                                Mr. Tugwell was a member of Parker’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

                                                                                He is survived by his wife, Carol Moore Tugwell of the home; daughters, Kami Chase and husband, Jason of Snow Hill and Kassie Nance and husband, Blake of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Titus and Caleb Chase and Jaylee, Jocelyn, and Jessa Nance; sister, Kathryn Price and husband, Ray of Fountain; brothers, Steve Tugwell and wife, Angie and Ricky Tugwell and wife, Sue, all of Fountain; several special nieces and nephews.
