William Gray "Billy" Rogers

Walstonburg…………………………William Gray “Billy” Rogers, age 84, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his home.

                                                Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, at 11:00 A.M. at Howell Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church by Rev. Tony Glass.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church.

                                                Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Leafy “Neat” Rogers of the home; daughters, Beth Street and husband, Curtis, and Christy Wade and husband, Brian, all of Walstonburg; grandchildren, Sarah Beth Moore and husband, Taylor, Ben Carraway, Jake Wade, and Allison Wade; great-grandchild, Ella Kate Moore.

                                                In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walstonburg Fire Department, P.O. Box 65, Walstonburg, NC 27888 or to Howell Swamp Laymen’s League, c/o Debbie Gay, 930 Meadow Road, Walstonburg, NC 27888.
