Elm City………………………………………William Linwood Stroud, age 67, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026.
A service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Stroud was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Stroud was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood Waters Stroud and Jean Owens Stroud.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Stroud and wife, Angela of Wilson; brothers, Neil Stroud and Michael Stroud and wife, Beverly, all of Fountain; sister, Pamela Boyette of Wilson; nieces, Jennifer Boyette, Heather Boyette, Stephanie Boyette, Breanna Stroud; and many dear friends and caregivers at Morning Star Assisted Living Elm City.
The family would like to thank the staff of Morning Star Assisted Living for the many years of care and friendship given to Lin.
