Greenville……………………………………………...William Roy ‘Buster” Gay Sr., age 72, died Thursday, May 26, at his home.

                                                                                A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 31, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00. 

                                                                                Mr. Gay was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Gay Harris; and parents, Lee Roy Gay and Julia Olivia Gay.

                                                                                He is survived by his son, Will Gay and wife, Karen of Grimesland; significant other, Diane Moore of the home; sister, Judy Ann Gay of Blackjack; brothers, Billy Goff (Kay) of Rocky Mount, Ray Gay of New Bern, Ricky Gay (Mary) of Belvoir, and James Gay (Tonya) of Blackjack; grandchildren, Jordan Harris and Gabby Gay; and several nieces and nephews.
